The National Testing Agency (NTA) is now accepting online applications for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026, which facilitates admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in Sainik and New Sainik Schools nationwide for the 2026-27 academic year. It is recommended that students who have not yet submitted their applications do so as soon as possible, since the application period will close on October 30, 2025.The official schedule states that the deadline for online application form submission is October 30, 2025 (by 5 pm), and the deadline for successful fee payment completion is October 31, 2025 (by 11:50 pm).

How to Apply for AISSEE 2026?
Visit the official website: exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society. Click on “AISSEE 2026 Registration.” Register using basic details and verify contact information. Log in, complete the full application, and upload required documents. Pay the examination fee online as per category. Preview, submit, and download the confirmation page. Students are advised to read the Information Bulletin for detailed eligibility, reservation rules, exam cities, syllabus, and result criteria before applying.
AISEE 2026 Exam Schedule and Format
The examination will take place offline, using pen and paper, and OMR sheets. The test format consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Class 6 entrance exam lasts for 150 minutes and is available in 13 languages. Class 9 entrance test duration: 180 mins, available exclusively in English medium. The AISSEE 2026 exam is anticipated to take place in January 2026, and the dates for downloading admit cards will be posted on the official portal in due time. It is probable that the results will be announced within four to six weeks following the exam.
AISEE 2026 Application charges
The examination fee must be paid online by candidates using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or Unified Payments Interface (UPI). General, Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Defence, and Ex-servicemen: 850 Indian Rupees. Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST): ₹700 AISEE 2026: Correction window. From November 2 to November 4, 2025, a correction facility will be provided, enabling candidates to modify specific details in their application form.
