Cyclone Montha Live Update: Winds are getting cooler in the last days of October. The Montha cyclone in the Bay of Bengal is the big reason for this instant climate change in different locations across the country. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) released warnings and guidelines for the next 5 days in the country, where most of the states will face heavy rain, which will completely change the entire weather of spring and will open doors for the winter winds.
Cyclone Montha is hitting Tamil Nadu
The environment at the Bay of Bengal is getting worse as the speed of wind has crossed 88 km per hour and is further expected to touch the maximum speed of 110 km per hour by the next 24 hours. These high-tension winds will directly contact the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu. The cyclone will come with expected disaster in Tamil Nadu and will affect most of the coastal areas near Tamil Nadu, including West Bengal.

These states will face heavy rainfall between 28 October and 3 November 2025. Apart from this, other locations in India will also face heavy rain, which will become a factor of the coldest winter season of the year.
Currently the cyclone is approximately 500 km from the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, but as it has touched the maximum speed of 88 kph, it is expected to increase the speed up to 110 kph by the next 24 hours. So there are high chances to touch the coastal areas by 28 October 2025.
Political Assurance Cyclone Montha
The Indian Meteorological Department has already warned all the locals living in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu to be aware of such a tsunami in the next 24 hours and asked all these civilians to leave the location quickly. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has discussed the issue with the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Chandrababu Naidu, and ensured that relaxation is given to all the affected people in this location.
The central government will send all the central facilities if the cyclone touches coastal areas of Tamil Nadu. However, the department of metrology in India has already shared this data, and all the agencies in the state are prepared to fight against the Montha cyclone.
Cyclone Montha is Changing Indian weather
The weather of Indian cities has completely changed after October 2025, but people are still waiting for the instant change of the weather. There are several natural events and activities that are directly promoting cold air in North India and other locations across the country. Reasons of changing the weather
The Montha cyclone is one of the big reasons for this instant climate change, but there are several factors that are combinedly affecting Indian weather, including the low pressure created in Arab Sagar. Apart from this, the Western disturbance is also one of the major factors that is circulating cold winds from the Himalayas to the country.
Experts suggested that usually the rainfall comes in the winter season, but the first rank of this season is coming in the last of October, so the upcoming days can be colder as compared to previous years. So all three factors are the major factors that are directly contributing to fast cold winds in most of the states.
